Protection of the house against insects - mosquito nets

The long-awaited spring is finally here! Finally, you can fully enjoy it and spend time outside. Finally, you can also open the windows or doors to the terrace / balcony wide, letting fragrant, not frosty air into the house. However, along with the long-awaited spring air, uninvited and troublesome, and sometimes even dangerous guests can also get inside - mosquitoes, flies, wasps, bees, etc.  Last summer season we had to deal with a real mosquito plague, so it is worth taking care of protection in advance inside the house in front of them.

Mosquito nets will be the perfect solution here for many different reasons. First of all, their fine mesh (1x1 mm) will protect the house against even the smallest insects, i.e. mosquitoes, which can be very annoying. However, you cannot forget about flies sitting on food or wasps that are dangerous mainly for allergy sufferers and small children.

Advantages of mosquito nets
Here, you should mainly pay attention to the high efficiency, i.e. the previously mentioned dense mesh protecting against insects. The mesh is made of light fiberglass, the additional advantage of which is that it is not only dense, but also thin. Thanks to this, the whole is only slightly visible from the outside and does not interfere with the aesthetics of the window. In addition, the mosquito net is covered with a PVC layer, which makes the cover resistant to weather conditions and maintains its nice appearance for a long time.

When we think about mosquito nets, we mainly mean protection against mosquitoes. A summer evening spent with the windows open is very pleasant, but a night spent chasing mosquitoes not so much. However, other insects should also be considered. During the day, flies, wasps and bees fall inside. This is a problem especially for people prone to allergies. Of course, there are ways to fight insects, e.g. special plugs, but they may not be completely safe for children or allergy sufferers. In addition, they need to be replaced regularly to maintain their effectiveness.

Installation of the mosquito net permanently protects the house, and the possibility of ordering it in our store to size gives the advantage of adapting it to windows of various (including non-standard) sizes.

Types of mosquito nets
The mosquito net can be installed on vertical windows and balcony/terrace doors. You can choose from two options here: a mosquito net on the frame or a rolled mosquito net. The window mosquito net is attached to the frame with a magnet or a special collar; without interfering with the window joinery. However, for mounting on balcony doors, it is necessary to use special hinges; the cover creates an extra pair of doors. In the case of rolled mosquito nets, the net is located in a cassette that is installed on the inside or outside of the window recess. The method of operation is identical to that of a classic fabric roller blind - the mesh is stretched over the window or hidden using a chain mechanism. Mosquito nets can be installed in all types of windows: wooden, PVC and aluminum.

The function of mosquito nets can also be performed by external screen roller blinds, which are made of a mesh that lets the sun's rays through. A lowered screen roller blind will help protect the house from insects. Produced to size, it will adapt to various sizes of windows and doors to the balcony / terrace.
