More »Easter is coming. We slowly start to think about decorations. Symbols that emphasize the special Christmas mood. Every year, Easter decorations are also associated with the beginning of spring. And although this year's shelves do not spoil us, the colorful and natural decorations prepared at that time are invariably associated with her.
For several years we have been focusing on nature in decorations, including those for Christmas. Fresh flowers, catkins, blooming sprigs of forsythia, cress, sprigs of mud. These elements are often used as decorations on the Easter table. However, decorations appear not only on the table.
We very often set Christmas accents on the windowsills or hang them on the windows. The more so as the space of the window covered with a roller blind or a blind is minimalist, and the window sill becomes an ideal place for decorating.
Easter holidays are colorful. The Easter eggs themselves introduce a whole range of colors and decorative patterns. Easter eggs are a symbol of nature reviving in spring, and their colors also have a symbolic meaning. The yellow color symbolizes the light and the sun, giving you joy and strength. As a natural dye, you can use, for example, turmeric. Orange means warmth and openness to another person; Onion shells can be used as a natural dye. Red symbolizes blood, but also love; you can use beetroot juice to get it. Blue symbolizes health and new opportunities. It dyes blackthorn (fruit) blue. Violet, on the one hand, is the color of Easter mourning, but on the Easter egg it means resurrection, a new beginning. Blueberry juice will help to achieve this color. Green is, of course, hope and the awakening of life. Natural dyes are grass and spinach. Brown is endurance and persistence. In order to get it on an Easter egg, it is enough to cook it longer in onion shells.
All these colors appear on Easter eggs. They are also visible on decorative napkins, treads or tablecloths. The colorful tulips and yellow daffodils carry this symbolism too. Twigs of bazi or forsythia also.
The sill and window are a great place to set up Christmas decorations. Woven garlands made of twigs are very popular. You can buy a ready-made whole or just a wreath. Then you can decorate it with your Easter eggs. With catkins and single flowers or green mud. Next to it, there are also figures of a bunny and a lamb. Such a wreath can also be hung in the window. Heavier Easter eggs can be replaced with the symbols of a bunny or a lamb.
The window sill is also a place for flowers - cut or potted. During Easter, the pots take the shape of a basket or an egg shell. They are very colorful and decorative.
The basket itself can also be an element of decoration; most often, however, it appears on the table.
Easter is colorful, springtime and symbolizing a new beginning. In this case, let's not be afraid to use a lot of colors. Easter is just like that. Make it visible in the windows too.
On the occasion of the upcoming Easter, we wish you peace, joyful moments spent with your loved ones and all the best.
