Wooden blinds in an intelligent interior

More »Scandinavian interior design has been widely popular for a longer time. What is so enchanting about it? Simplicity? Functionality? Bright and calm colours? Or maybe a little bit of everything? There truly is something special in the Scandinavian-style interiors. There is calm, cosiness and beauty in their simplicity.
Or maybe there is something in the Scandinavia itself that is so enchanting for us? The land of unexplored fiords, auroras and space. The place where the nature exist in harmony with small towns and large cities. There's nothing weird about us wanting a piece of this harmony in our homes. The Scandinavian style does not change, it does not follow trends - it is special in itself, and this is probably why it resists the course of time that changes the fashion also when it comes to interior design.
The Scandinavian-style interiors mean light and space. Minimalism and functionality are the kings here. White, grey and beige with red, blue, violet and pastel hues dominate in such spaces. Seemingly raw Scandinavian style is not ascetic, on the contrary - it is cosy. Such accessories as blankets or large pillows bring the warmth in. Everything that appears in the interior should be functional, thus we can avoid the chaos and overburdening the room with decorations.
