This year spring does not pamper us, we think more about protecting ourselves from the rain than against the sun. But there is nothing to complain about, summer is already on the horizon. It is worth considering whether our houses and gardens or plots of land are prepared for the arrival of the long-awaited warmth. In spring, we practiced protection against the cold, it's time to practice protection against heat, because they can be not only burdensome, but also dangerous. Properly selected covers are a combination of aesthetics and comfort at home and outside on summer days. Rest in the shade and enjoy the beautiful weather.

In summer, we want to spend as much time outside as possible. Beautiful weather makes us want to enjoy our backyards or plots of land outside the city. We enjoy taking care of flowers and plants, we like to relax in the air and meet friends on warm summer evenings. However, sometimes the heat can thwart the flammable ones as effectively as rain.

How to ensure the comfort of being in the garden during hot weather
The offer of covers that will help us deal with the hot summer is very extensive. Let's start with the awnings and the pergola. Awnings are mounted to the external wall of the building, the bottom of the balcony or the roof rafters. The expanded material creates a shaded space above the terrace or balcony. We can safely be outside when it's hot outside.

In turn, the pergola is the so-called small garden architecture. A structure (usually wooden) consisting of two sides and a roof can be placed anywhere in the garden - by the terrace, thus enlarging the shaded area or in a place where we want to create an intimate corner. The biggest advantage of the pergola is its openwork structure, which can be climbed by standard plants. A pergola overgrown with such plants will be a unique decoration of gardens or plots, and at the same time a place full of natural shade.

A shade in the garden is one thing, just as important is a comfortable temperature at home during summer days. Here, external roller blinds deserve special attention - classic or screen type (the screen is a special type of roller blinds, the cover is a mesh made of special materials; the rooms are not completely darkened after the roller blinds are lowered). The biggest advantage of external roller shutters is that they create a barrier against the sun's rays in front of the glass. In this way, when lowered, they very effectively reduce the temperature in the house - about 80% of the heat gets inside through the glass. If the house has an attic, it is also worth considering external covers for roof windows. The attic is the space that heats up the fastest and it is worth protecting it against it. The more so because in the attic there are often children's rooms and bedrooms, i.e. rooms in which a pleasant temperature should prevail.
