Measuring Instructions
Roman Blinds

The long and faultless operation of the window covering depends not only on its high quality of workmanship but also on its proper fitting and installation. To ensure the covering fits perfectly, the chosen location must be properly and carefully measured.
Be sure to strictly follow the auxiliary drawings below.

Installation inside the window recess

A - WIDTH OF THE WINDOW RECESS If the width of the recess is not the same at all points, take the smallest measurement of the recess. 5mm is the distance to be subtracted from the width of the window recess for a free installation of the blind.
B - HEIGHT OF THE WINDOW RECESS If the height of the recess is not the same at all points, take the smallest measurement of the recess. 5mm is the distance to be subtracted from the height of the window recess for a free installation of the blind.

Installation on the window frame – non-invasive option

A - WIDTH This is the width of the glass including the glazing beads.
B - HEIGHT This is the height from the top to the bottom edge of the frame.

Wall/Ceiling Installation

A - WIDTH OF THE BLIND This is the total width of the blind. Make sure the blind is at least 5-8 cm wider than the window recess to avoid gaps when it is lowered.
B - HEIGHT OF THE BLIND This is the total height of the blind. When rolled up, the Roman blind reaches a height of 22 to 35 cm, depending on its length.

Available Models

Roman blinds in the Knall online store come in two types. These are very similar systems, differing mainly in aesthetics.

Model 2

Blind with round underwires* (4 mm).
With transparent horizontal tape. Minimum stack height 23 cm.

Model 3

Blind with round underwires* (3 mm).
With tucks at the back of the fabric. Minimum stack height 21 cm.

*All dimensions are given in millimetres.
*When rolled up, the blind reaches a height of 22 to 35 cm, depending on the length of the blind.
