Measuring instructions
Long and failure-free operation of a window shutter depends not only its high quality but also on correct fit and installation. To make the cover fit perfectly, the chosen place needs to be correctly and carefully measured.
You need to strictly follow the below supportive drawing:
Fitting inside a window recess
- A - WIDTH OF THE RECESS If the recess width is not the same in all spots, the lowest dimension of the recess should be assumed. 5mm is the distance that needs to be subtracted from the window recess width in order to install the vertical blind freely.
- B - HIGH OF THE RECESS If the recess height is not the sare in all spots, the lowest dimension of the recess should be assumed. 5mm is the distance that needs to be subtracted from the window recess height in order to install the vertical blind freely
*Remember that when the blinds are rolled up, the height of the mechanism will increase by the thickness of the lamella package, which in some cases may interfere with the opening of the window.
*The heights of the lamella packages can be found in the descriptions of the blinds.
Fitting outside a window recess
- A - WIDTH OF THE BLINDS
- B - HEIGHT OF THE BLINDS
- C - WIDTH OF THE RECESS
- D - HEIGHT OF THE RECESS
Use this option if you want install the venetian blind outside window recess, We suggest that the blind is 8-10cm wider each side than window recess, also add 8-10cm above and below window to be sure that the blind will cover the window.

*It should be taken into account that the height of the cassette is fixed and for 50mm blinds it is 70mm.
Maximum dimensions:
- Maximum width of Basswood and Pure blinds – 270cm (2700mm)
- Maximum width of bamboo blinds – 240cm (2400mm)
- Maximum width of Africa & Shade blinds – 290cm (2900mm)
- Maximum height for all – 420cm (4200mm)
On individual request, we are able to produce white or black wooden blinds 50mm up to a maximum width of 3600mm.
*All dimensions are given in millimeters
**There may be slight differences in the height of the blinds. The tolerance of differences is from -5 mm to +35 mm.
