Awning fabric

The awning fabric, which is the most representative part of the awning, not only serves as protection against the sun, but also acts as a decorative element. To meet customer expectations, the company offers a wide range of fabric patterns, produced by leading European manufacturers.

Fabrics are made of high-quality materials and are constantly tested. In addition, during the production process, acrylic fabrics are treated with a Teflon-based impregnation to increase their resistance to dirt and raindrops. These fabrics, when used properly, can withstand brief, light rain showers. However, the tilt angle of the awning fabric must be large enough (at least 30 ° or more, especially with large overhangs) so that raindrops can run down the fabric.

It is absolutely necessary not to unfold the awning during heavy rainfall and expose the fabrics to long-term dampness, because the residual water on its surface may overload the fasteners and lead to slight deformations and waviness of the fabric surface. If the damp fabric is rolled up, roll it out immediately after the rain has subsided and leave it to dry.

Only first-class fabrics are used for the production of awnings, with the use of the most modern sewing machines and high-quality yarns. However, despite the pursuit of perfection, even with the current state of the art, some changes to the fabric cannot be avoided. Due to the fact that the fabric on the seams is double folded, a different winding diameter is created during winding. The resulting stresses can cause the fabric to wavy in the seams, in the center of the stripes, along the side edges. The use of an awning as a protection against rain intensifies the waviness effect. The side bands are exposed to particularly high loads, therefore the edges of the fabrics may drop slightly. Another change in the appearance of the fabric are the creases that may arise when it is rolled up. Then, within them (this applies mainly to dark-colored covers), a delicate line may be visible, seen in the right light.

The above-described changes that may occur on the surface of the sheathing cannot constitute grounds for claims, as they are typical for awning fabrics and do not affect the comfort of use.
