The awning fabric, which is the most representative part of the awning, not only serves to protect against the sun, but also serves as a decorative element. To meet the expectations of customers, the company has offers a wide range of fabric patterns produced by leading European manufacturers.
Fabrics are made on the basis of high-quality materials and are subject to continuous tests. In addition, during the production process, acrylic fabrics were protected with a Teflon-based impregnation to increase their resistance to dirt and raindrops. These fabrics, if used properly, will withstand short periods of light rain. However, the angle of inclination of the awning fabric must be large enough (at least 30º or more, especially with long arm reach) so that raindrops can run down the fabric.
It is absolutely necessary to unroll the awnings during heavy rainfall and expose the fabric to long-term dampness, because the retention of water on its surface may lead to overloading of the fastenings and to the occurrence of slight deformations and waviness of the fabric plane. If the fabric is rolled up when it is wet, unroll it immediately after the rain has stopped and let it dry.
Only first-class fabrics are used for the production of awnings, with the use of the most modern sewing machines and high-quality yarns. However, despite striving for perfection, even with the current state of the art, some changes to the fabric can be avoided. Due to the fact that the fabric at the seams is double folded,
different winding diameters are created during winding. The resulting tension can cause the fabric to wrinkle at the seams, in the middle of the strips, along the side edges. The use of the awning as protection against rain intensifies the waviness effect. The side bands are exposed to particularly high loads, which is why the fabric edges may sag slightly. Another change in the appearance of the fabric are the creases that may appear when it is rolled up. Then, within them (this applies mainly to dark-colored covers), a delicate line may be visible, seen in the right light.
The changes described above, which may occur on the surface of the cover, cannot be the basis for claims, as they are typical for awning fabrics and do not affect the comfort of use.
