Measuring Instructions for Internal Blinds
of Fixed Dimensions

The long and faultless operation of window blinds depends not only on the high quality of their craftsmanship but also on their proper fitting and installation. To correctly choose the dimensions of blinds with fixed sizes, it is necessary to accurately and carefully measure the selected target area.
It is absolutely necessary to follow the diagrams provided below.

Mounting on the wall or ceiling

  • A - WIDTH OF THE BLIND
  • B - HEIGHT OF THE BLIND
  • C - WIDTH OF THE WINDOW RECESS
  • D - HEIGHT OF THE WINDOW RECESS

We suggest that the blind should be about 8-10 cm wider and 8-10 cm higher than the window recess to avoid gaps.

*The top mechanism of the blind takes up about 5cm in height.

*Remember, when the blind is rolled up, the height of the mechanism will increase by the thickness of the slats, which in some cases may interfere with opening the window.

Mounting inside the window recess*

  • A - WIDTH OF THE WINDOW RECESS If the width of the recess is not the same at all points, the smallest dimension of the recess should be taken. 5mm is the distance that should be subtracted from the width of the window recess to allow for easy installation of the blind.
  • B - HEIGHT OF THE WINDOW RECESS If the height of the recess is not the same at all points, the smallest dimension of the recess should be taken. 5mm is the distance that should be subtracted from the height of the window recess to allow for easy installation of the blind.

*Our fixed dimension blinds, thanks to universal mounting brackets, can be installed in window recesses of matching dimensions. In such cases, we do not guarantee a perfect fit, as is the case with made-to-measure blinds.

*The top mechanism of the blind takes up about 5cm in height.

*All dimensions are given in millimeters

*Each ordered product will have exactly the dimensions specified when placing the order. However, it is worth remembering to leave additional space on the sides of the blind to ensure smooth movement of the slats.
